About Us

Valley Health System, a California Local Health Care District, owns and operates two acute hospitals and a chemical dependency program; Hemet Valley Medical Center, a 343-bed facility located in Hemet, Menifee Valley Medical Center, an 84-bed facility located in Sun City.

Currently the District encompasses approximately 882 square miles in the San Jacinto Valley in west central Riverside County. It includes the City of Hemet, the City of San Jacinto, the City of Sun City, and the surrounding unincorporated areas. Population of the District is approximately 360,000.
